When I was asked to write this book, my mind immediately started swirling with potential prehistoric stories. But I wanted to make sure the book:

•  covered a vast amount of time

• featured both well-known and less known creatures

• had at least one story from every content

• sneak in a couple of things that are special to me 

Mission accomplished!  The oldest story is from 3.5 billion years ago and the youngest is around 4,000 years ago.  I feature the famous T. rex and the "should be famous" Amargasaurus. All seven continents accounted for - even Antarctica! And I added a story about Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historic Park where I did a summer internship during my undergraduate.
