I am a Postdoc at the School of Business and Economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. I graduated with a PhD in economics from the Berlin School of Economics in late 2021.
My research is at the intersection of urban, regional, health and historical economics. I have an empirical focus and I love working with historical spatial data. Learn about my research here.
I teach courses in economic history, economic geography and spatial data science. This semester, I teach a course on the economic history of epidemics.
I am a regular contributor for the Institute for Research in Economic and Fiscal Issues (IREF) and a co-organizer of the annual AGORA Summer School in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
