I am an assistant professor at the Department of Economics at LMU Munich. I graduated with a PhD in economics from the Berlin School of Economics and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2021.

My research is at the intersection of urban, regional, health and historical economics. I have an empirical focus and I love working with historical spatial data. Learn about my research here.

I teach courses in economic history, urban economics, economic geography and spatial data science. This semester, I teach a course on urban economics.

I was a regular contributor for the Institute for Research in Economic and Fiscal Issues (IREF) and currently I am co-organizer of the annual AGORA Summer School in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
