Kalki Studio

                 It has been 10 incredible years—one whole decade—of artistic journey at Kalki Studio. Throughout this time, we’ve worked towards creating a vibrant and creative destination for art. We’ve been honored to collaborate with friends from across Nepal and various foreign countries, coming together through colors, pencils, brushes, and artistic tools to share and observe art.Our work has always been deeply rooted in the context of our nation’s socio-cultural landscape. We've explored and reflected on our lifestyles through light, shade, and color, resulting in powerful creative expressions. Kalki Studio has become a gathering place for artists from diverse communities who are passionate about art in all its forms.

            Over the past 8 years, students from Srijana College of Fine Arts have joined hands with us, working and learning together in this creative environment. We’ve also welcomed international artists who have brought their energy and talent, contributing to a strong spirit of collaboration and teamwork. Several organizations have hosted workshops here as well, all enriching our studio's journey. 

                Kalki Studio is not just a workspace—it’s a sanctuary for artists. It’s a humorous, lively, and open hub for anyone interested in creativity—whether to participate, visit, or simply enjoy art. Visitors often leave feeling refreshed and inspired after spending time at our galleries.

This space allows people to witness the live process of art-making, and encourages meaningful engagement with artists and artworks alike. However, for the past 8 months, Kalki Studio has been in a passive state due to severe financial and physical challenges. As artists, we find strength in our surroundings—Nepal’s rich cultural, ethnic, and linguistic diversity has always motivated us to create. But despite our passion, we now face a crisis. A lack of resources and financial stability has impacted our ability to sustain the studio and continue our work.

Yet, our spirit remains unbroken. We believe in the hope and power of art, and we are determined to grow even in adversity. That’s why we are reaching out to our friends, community, and supporters for help.

We wish to continue creating meaningful art, but we need support. Purchasing our artworks, whether original or printed, would not only sustain the studio but also inspire us to keep moving forward. In return, as a token of our gratitude, we are offering unique souvenirs—either a copy of original artwork or selected prints from Kalki Studio—as gifts for those who support or donate.

We are also deeply engaged in themes like the Himalayan region, climate change, wildlife, and nature conservation. We are proud to offer hand-poked traditional tattoos, one of the world’s oldest forms of body art.Amidst environmental challenges, personal struggles, and daily obstacles, we are still here—moving forward with courage and creativity. Art is not just our work; it is our way of life.
