**Your STC or I still have to reset student passwords or enable users that have become disabled.
Finding/Accessing AIMS Online:
Most schools have AIMS linked to their school's website.
On most sites, you can find the link under the "Faculty" tab on your school's homepage. Generally the link will be listed under the name "AIMS" or "Technology Work Order".
You can also click this link to access AIMS - I would suggest bookmarking it for quick access. :)
Your login information should be your first.last (or your regular computer username - some are first initial and last name) and your regular password.
Finding Student Logins Once In AIMS:
Once you've logged into AIMS, you will find a list of your assigned classes in the center of the screen.
Click on any of these classes to find the associated student passwords.
This will bring up a list of student users assigned to you. You can also search your students (search bar is located on the right side of the screen).
Unfortunately, I do not believe special education teachers and other resource staff will have access to view their students' information. Teachers should work with support staff to ensure all login information is shared as needed.
On the screen where you can see all your users listed, you can see the student's username (what they would use to log into a traditional desktop computer).
If you click the magnifying glass, you will see the student's password appear.
For Older Students with Email Logins: if you click on the student's username from your user list, a page of student specific information will appear.
On this page, you can see the student's email address (some students have a number after their last name or other additional information included in their email addresses, so this is a place to verify that information if the student is having trouble logging in).
Important Info For All Students:
Please know that all students automatically have an email address created for them when they enroll as a kindergarten student, so there is no further action required to "set up" an email for a student.
However, before actually using this email and other online programs (in approximately 2nd/3rd grade), your STC or I will need to reset your students' passwords from their regular 4-digit password to an 8-digit password.
Please email me or your STC when you are ready for your students' passwords to be reset so that we can update those passwords and make their accounts more secure.
If you need to check on a student's password to see if it needs to be updated to 8-digits, please use the directions above to locate that student in your AIMS.
