Trevor and I with our sweet pup, Lilly Jane!
My name is Kali ["kay-lee"] Ervin, and I am a Digital Learning Coach (DLC) in our district currently serving 6 BCPS Elementary Schools as well as several Central Office Staff. I absolutely love using instructional technology and am excited to help others do the same!
In 2013, I taught in the Glasgow Independent School District at South Green Elementary. The following spring, I married my high school sweetheart, Trevor, and moved to Bullitt County, where he was already serving as a high school band director.
In 2014, I became a kindergarten teacher at Mount Washington Elementary. During my tenure at MWES I served as a team leader, team technology leader, ABRI committee member, CSIP leadership team member, and sign language club sponsor.
During the Spring 2018 semester, I served as the School Library Media Specialist and School Technology Coordinator for Shepherdsville Elementary. While in this position, I became a Level 1 & 2 Google Certified Educator and an Apple Teacher. In the Fall of 2018, I was accepted as a Google Certified Trainer and became a DLC in BCPS.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and my Master's degree in Library Media Education with an Instructional Technology Emphasis, both through Western Kentucky University. In addition to my Bachelor's Degree in Education, I also hold a certificate in American Sign Language.
