Hello, neighbors! I'm running for one of two open seats on the Southwest Harbor Select Board.
I'd love to earn your vote in the election on May 5th, 2026!
My family and I moved to Southwest Harbor just over three years ago to be closer to family and to live somewhere my children could have a childhood like the one I was fortunate to have growing up in Maine, where kids can explore outside, know their neighbors, and feel part of a community. I’ve fallen in love with this town and care deeply about helping us all thrive. I’m running for Select Board because I want to help ensure that Southwest Harbor is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can build their lives, feel welcome, and be part of a strong community.
Southwest Harbor should remain a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can build their lives. I’m interested in thoughtful approaches to housing availability so that people who work or want to put down roots here can be part of this community.
Southwest Harbor is special because of its natural beauty and the care people here take in looking after our community. I believe thoughtful planning and responsible stewardship are essential to protecting the land and water that make this place unique.
I believe in continuing to improve walkability and bikeability so it’s easier and safer for people to get around town and connect to our trails and public spaces. As a parent, I care deeply about supporting our school so it remains a great place for teachers and staff to work, and a place where every child feels safe, supported, and able to succeed.
Our downtown and working waterfront are at the heart of Southwest Harbor. Supporting local businesses, maintaining vibrant public spaces, and ensuring our downtown remains active and welcoming year-round are important priorities.
