Peter Daltrey’s new album, Three Windows, arrives on December 11, 2026 through Think Like A Key Music. Bringing together new compositions, fresh recordings from his band years and revisited solo songs, it offers a personal view across a songwriting life that began with British psychedelic pioneers Kaleidoscope.
Three Windows completes a trilogy that began on the page. Three Ladders explored Daltrey’s life through long-form poetry; Three Rooms gathered further poems. This third instalment brings the project into song, connecting his work as a poet with the voice and writing that first emerged in the late 1960s.
As Kaleidoscope’s lead singer and lyricist, Daltrey helped shape Tangerine Dream and Faintly Blowing, before the group continued as Fairfield Parlour. On Three Windows, that history is part of an ongoing body of work: nine new compositions sit alongside five songs approached afresh.
The album opens with new recordings of “Caraminda,” “I Am All the Animals” and “Song for You,” all written by Daltrey with Eddy Pumer. These are newly recorded interpretations of songs from his band years. Two earlier solo songs, “White and Blue” and “England,” are also reimagined for the album.
Written, performed and produced by Daltrey, with the Daltrey/Pumer collaborations credited above, Three Windows runs to fourteen tracks on CD and digital. The vinyl edition offers a distinct ten-track selection, edited and sequenced by Peter himself.
