In 2013, a mother named Tini Gustini took the initiative to preserve local wisdom in the area where she lives. Pangandaran Regency is a center of coconut fruit with various derivatives, one of which is serundeng. Serundeng is a staple food in our family. The uniqueness of the production process is still original by roasting. The impetus for us to produce this coconut serundeng, because of the continuous demand every week from relatives & friends. In addition, we also want to introduce other traditional food products, namely Various Fried Onions & Sale Bananas.
In 2019, Kalapa Indung has become PT. Kalapa Indung Indonesia (Individual Company). Partnering with Female Head of Households alumni of Sekoper Cinta (Sekolah Perempuan Capai Cita-Cita) as a development of women's empowerment and start marketing locally & internationally (Shipping products to Australia, Singapore, Malaysia).
