Entering his third year leading the Kalaheo Mustangs, Head Coach Jaymason Lee brings a dynamic blend of high-level playing experience and a proven track record of building successful programs across several prominent Hawaii high school football teams. A former standout quarterback at Alabama A&M University, where he earned numerous honors and set school records, Coach Lee's passion for the game and commitment to developing student-athletes are evident.

Since taking the helm in March 2023, Coach Lee has focused on cultivating a strong team culture grounded in core values. He manages all aspects of the varsity football program while diligently building a capable coaching staff. His efforts have resulted in a significant increase in the football roster, demonstrating his ability to inspire and recruit student-athletes in the Kailua community.

Beyond his current role at Kalaheo, Coach Lee's offensive expertise is well-established. As Offensive Coordinator at Moanalua High School, his leadership helped the team achieve Division 1 Regular Season Champs and a championship berth, leading the division in offense. Prior to that, at James B. Campbell High School, his offensive strategies resulted in a high-scoring offense and an Open Division playoff appearance. Notably, during his time as Offensive Coordinator at St. Francis Schools, the team achieved an impressive 9-0 season, leading their division in both offensive yards and points.

This consistent success in developing potent offenses and guiding teams to high levels of competition underscores Coach Lee's strategic acumen and ability to connect with and elevate student-athletes. At Kalaheo, he continues to foster a winning mindset and has already seen tangible results, including team recognition in local news, an Athlete of the Week recipient, and multiple players earning All-Division honors.

Coach Lee's commitment extends beyond the high school level. As the CEO and Founder of Champions Academy Inc., a non-profit providing free football clinics and mentorship to youth, he demonstrates a deep-seated desire to give back to the community and develop well-rounded individuals. His experience coordinating travel teams and college visits further highlights his dedication to the future success of his student-athletes.
