A concert band is a large music ensemble.  Also called a wind band, wind ensemble, wind symphony, wind orchestra, symphonic band, the symphonic winds, or symphonic wind ensemble, it hosts a collection of wind and percussion instruments with the aim of producing a unified musical performance.

The pep band serves 2 main functions in the music program

1) It serves to develop fundamental skills for musicianship through regular performance and 

2) It builds school spirit and community amongst the student body.  

Check back in at the start of the school year to see our scheduled homecoming and holiday parade performances.

This is an additonal class (Ensembles 1) that students chose to sign up for on May 1st of last school year.

• NOT all students are in Marching Band

• The expectations of a student in marching band are much higher than the average member.

• The BAND APP is the official means of communication for the marching band students and parents.
