We are conducting research and development to create new bioanalytical technologies by using micro/nano spaces fabricated with microfabrication technologies in the field of semiconductors as a "field" for the measurement and diagnosis of biological molecules, organelles, and cells. Our goal is to extend the Lab-on-a-Chip (µTAS) analytical technology to a Life-on-a-Chip that can artificially reproduce phenomena of life on a chip and create a next-generation analytical chemistry that can contribute to an understanding of life sciences.
半導体分野における微細加工技術を駆使して作製したマイクロ・ナノ空間を、生体関連物質や細胞の計測・診断の「場」として用いることで、新しいバイオ分析技術を創出すべく研究開発を行っています。最終的にはこのようなLab-on-a-Chip（µTAS）という分析技術をさらに拡張して、生命（生命現象）をチップ上で人工的に再現できるようなLife-on-a-Chipの創成を目指しています。

KAJI Lab has launched since January 1, 2018. We welcome students and post docs with a pioneering spirit to explore a new field of Analytical Chemistry.
加地研究室は、2018年1月に加地教授が着任し、同年4月から学生が配属されてスタートしました。
配属される方は、研究に自主的かつ意欲的に取り組める方、我こそが分析化学の新しい研究分野を切り拓いていくというパイオニア精神にあふれた方を歓迎します。また、国内外を問わず他研究機関との共同研究や留学生の受け入れを積極的に推進していくため、考え方の多様性を受容でき、協調性のある情熱にあふれた熱い方を歓迎します。各々が研究室を支えているという当事者意識を大事にしながら有意義な学生生活を送れるよう、スタッフとともに頑張りましょう。

The paper titled "An initial study of cell separation based on mechanical properties using a sponge-like monolithic polymer" has been accepted in Talanta Open. This work was conducted in collaboration with Prof. Kubo and Dr. Tanigawa in Kyoto University.
辻君（2022年度修士卒）と堤君（2023年度学士卒）の論文が、Talanta Open誌にアクセプトされました。久保先生・谷川博士（京都大学）との共同研究成果です。
