Kajdut respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how Kajdut collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect
When you use Kajdut, we may collect the following types of information:
a. Information You Provide
Account Information: Name, email, phone number, profile picture, and other details you choose to share.
Posts & Requests: Details of the help you are seeking or offering, including area/location, description, and bid price.
Communications: Messages, feedback, and any content you send through the app’s realtime communication features.
Shared Location: Precise or approximate location that you voluntarily choose to share with other users (e.g., during a request or chat). Location sharing is optional and only happens when you explicitly enable or share it.
b. Information Collected Automatically
Device Information: Device model, operating system, unique device identifiers (such as Android ID or advertising identifiers).
Usage Data: App activity, interactions, preferences, and crash reports.
Location Data: Approximate location (for matching users and helpers by area). If you share your location with other users, more precise location data may be temporarily processed.
Analytics and Performance Data: Information collected through third-party services (detailed in section 3).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for:
Facilitating connections between Users and Helpers.
Enabling realtime communication (chat/messaging) between users.
Allowing Users to post requests and Helpers to bid on them.
Processing acceptance or denial of bids.
Displaying shared location (only when you choose to share it) to help complete requests safely.
Improving app performance, features, stability, and security (including through analytics and crash reporting).
Sending important updates, offers, and support messages (via Firebase Messaging / push notifications).
Complying with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Services and SDKs
We use the following trusted third-party services to provide and improve our app:
Firebase Services (Google):
We use Firebase Analytics (for understanding app usage and improving features), Crashlytics (for crash reporting and stability), and Firebase Messaging (for push notifications and realtime communication support). These services may collect device information, usage data, and crash logs. Data sent to Firebase is handled according to Google’s Privacy Policy.
Google Maps SDK:
Used for displaying maps and location-related features. When you use map features or share location, certain device and usage data may be shared with Google.
Google In-App Update SDK:
Helps us deliver seamless app updates. It may collect limited device information for update functionality.
These third-party services act as data processors on our behalf. We do not sell your data to them. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies (you can find Google’s at: https://policies.google.com/privacy).
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information only in the following cases:
Between Users and Helpers: To complete a request or realtime communication, relevant details (such as name, request description, area, bid price, messages, and shared location if you enabled it) may be shared directly between the involved users.
With Service Providers: Trusted third parties like Firebase/Google that help us operate the app, provide realtime features, analytics, crash reporting, maps, and updates. We ensure they have appropriate safeguards.
Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, especially for location data you voluntarily share with other users.
Realtime communication and shared location data are transmitted securely where possible, but once shared with another user, that user controls how they handle the information.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can update or correct your profile information anytime from within the App.
Location Sharing: You control when and with whom you share your location. You can stop sharing at any time.
You can manage push notifications and messaging preferences in your device settings or the app.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (some data may be retained for legal reasons).
You can opt out of certain analytics tracking through your device settings (e.g., advertising ID reset or limit ad tracking).
7. Children’s Privacy
Kajdut is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it immediately.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy in the App with a new Last Updated date. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (e.g., in-app notification) where appropriate.
Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
