Board of Directors

Kaitlyn Stock (she/her)
Executive Director, President

I am 23 years old and the founder of Kaitlyn's Kloset - MN. I have lived in Minnesota my whole life and am proud to call it my home. I have a bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, and I use my degree in both my work with Kaitlyn's Kloset and in my daily life. I have had the opportunity to see the world through a lot of people's eyes which allows me to form connections with the people I serve, while also understanding the circumstances that surround them in their time of need. The biggest thing that Kaitlyn's Kloset has taught me is how to be an advocate for marginalized groups and people. I am a true believer in the statement that we can change the world, so I'm here to do that.

Kristen Stock (she/her)
Operations Manager, Vice President

I am a wife of 26 years and a mother of two grown daughters. I have almost a decade of experience working in both the public and charter school systems. I know first-hand what it feels like to have to make difficult choices while juggling the expenses of raising a family. Helping lessen this burden a bit, with the clients who visit our Resource Center, truly fills my soul. Maintaining a safe space for marginalized populations is very important to me. Audrey Hepburn said it best when she said, “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”

Tim Johnson (he/him)
Treasurer

I grew up in Minnesota and chose to stay and develop a career in public service. I have worked for the State for the past 25 years in the technology field. Outside of work, I fill my time with outdoor activities including 4 wheeling and snowmobiling. I've been around Kaitlyn's Kloset since it's beginning and now have been given an opportunity to help support the mission. I'm excited to be associated with the team.

Marta Leang (she/her)
Secretary, Community Outreach

I am a Wife and Mom of 3.

I own a small online business called MammaGlam T-Shirts & More.

I am a long time Kaitlyn’s Kloset-MN member and supporter. In my spare time I run a very large facebook group called South of the River Mamas. I also love volunteering and giving back where I can. Being a former teen mom and a mom to a child who has special needs, I have seen the need for help within my community first hand. Nothing fills my cup more than helping those who need it most.

Donna Anderson (she/her)
Board Member, Client Experience

I am a wife and mother of 3 with 6 grandchildren!

I have always loved to volunteer and give back to my community.  Having been homeless myself with my three children, I know what it is to feel so emotional and scared.  To feel vulnerable and also to be afraid to ask for help.  Maybe even worried that there are others out there who need help worse than me.   I want to give back to the community that helped me in my time of need.  I want others to understand that at any point in time, we can be the ones facing problems.  Life sometimes throws curveballs and to utilize the quote, it takes a village.  I am currently working for the State of Minnesota in IT and I love my job.  I have worked for them for 15 years.

I am 33 years old. I am a proud wife and a mother to two elementary aged children. I was born and raised in interior Alaska and moved to Minnesota in 2015 for the incredible weather. Professionally, I spent eight years in banking before becoming a stay at home mom for seven years. Currently, I work as a paraprofessional in my local school district which has been an amazing new chapter in my life. I love to travel, sing and learn new things. I am excited and humbled for the opportunity to serve my community and others through Kaitlyn’s Kloset.

I am a Wife & Mother of 5.

I love to volunteer and find ways to give back to my community. As a child growing up, I often saw the needs of others and could do nothing to help. My mission now is to always help when I can.  I was also a single mom for years & know first-hand how great it feels to receive help & support without any judgement!
