In this project, I explore the challenge of maintaining authorial voice while adhering to academic standards, specifically in the case of students who speak English as a second language. 

By analyzing research associated with tutoring ESL students, consultants can work to educate themselves so that they know how to navigate the difficulties of linguistic justice.
