The AI-Transformed Aerospace (AITA) research group was established through the InnoCORE initiative of Korea’s four major Institutes of Science and Technology (KAIST, UNIST, GIST, and DGIST). AITA aims to lead core technological research for AI-driven transformation across the entire lifecycle of aerospace systems, from design to maintenance.

The research group consists of six specialized subgroups, with participating faculty from KAIST, UNIST, GIST, DGIST, and Seoul National University. AITA fosters a dynamic and autonomous research culture led by creative and talented young researchers, including postdoctoral fellows and research professors.

AITA aspires to become a global hub for AI-powered innovation and the cultivation of interdisciplinary talent that will shape the future of the aerospace industry.

🔍 Now hiring: InnoCORE Postdoctoral Fellows
(50 Positions)

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in AI technologies in the aerospace domain. The candidate should: 1) have a PhD degree in Aerospace, AI, and other related fields, 2) have excellent problem-solving skills as well as good oral and written communication skills, and 3) be passionate about “AI-Transformation” of “Aerospace Systems” in their various life-cycle phases.

Compensation: minimum KRW 90 million per year (including national insurance)

Work Location: co-locate with the main faculty mentor
