Kaiser Remote Control is a companion app for the KaiserPhotoBooth software

that runs on a photo-booth PC. It is used by booth operators to control the

booth from a phone or tablet on the same local network.

**This policy covers both versions of the app — iOS on the App Store and

Android on Google Play.** It is one app, built from one codebase, with one set

of data practices. Where a permission is named differently by the two operating

systems, both names are given below.

## What the app does with your data

**The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our

servers. We operate no servers.**

All communication happens directly between your device and the

KaiserPhotoBooth PC on your own local network (Wi-Fi/LAN). Nothing is sent

to the developer or to any third party.

## Permissions and why they are needed

| Permission | Why it is used |

|---|---|

| **Camera** | To scan the booth's QR code, and — in phone-camera mode — to take the photos the booth prints. |

| **Local network** (iOS) / **Internet** (Android) | To reach the KaiserPhotoBooth PC on your local network. It is used only for local addresses. |

| **Add to photo library** (iOS) / **Storage on Android 9 and older** | Only if you switch on *Settings → Photo storage → Save a copy to the phone gallery*. Left off, the app never touches the phone's photo library. |

| **Photo library** (iOS) | Declared because the library that saves a photo checks the photo-library permission before adding one. The app only ever **adds** a photo, and only with the setting above turned on. It never browses, reads, or imports photos you already have. |

The app does **not** request microphone access. It never records audio.

## Photos

- Photos you take in phone-camera mode are uploaded **only** to the

KaiserPhotoBooth PC you connected to, over your local network.

- The app does not upload photos to the internet, to the developer, or to

  any cloud service.

- Photos are also stored and printed by the booth PC; how long they are kept

there is determined by the booth operator, not by this app.

### Copies kept on your device

- **Inside the app (always).** Every photo taken in phone-camera mode — the

original shot and the print-ready version the PC returns — is kept in the

app's *Session photos* gallery, in the app's own private storage. Other

apps cannot read it. It is not backed up to any cloud by this app.

- **In your phone's photo gallery (only if you turn it on).** *Settings →

Photo storage → Save a copy to the phone gallery* adds a copy to a

"Kaiser PhotoBooth" album. This setting is **off by default**. Once a

photo is in your phone's gallery, your phone's own backup settings apply

to it, which may include a cloud backup run by Apple or Google.

- **Deleting.** Session photos can be deleted one at a time, or all at once,

from inside the gallery. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it kept

in its own storage; copies you placed in the phone's gallery remain until

  you delete them there.

### If you photograph other people

The photos are of your guests. You decide where they end up: leaving the

phone-gallery setting off keeps them inside the app and on your booth PC.

## Data stored on your device

The app saves the following on the device only, so you do not have to type

it again:

- The booth's IP address and port

- The connection PIN

- The scanned device/session identifiers

- Your chosen camera lens

- Your settings: preview orientation, upload rotation, countdown, sound and

volume, default copies, and whether to copy photos to the phone gallery

- The session photos described above

This data never leaves the device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

## Analytics, advertising and tracking

The app contains **no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any

kind**. No third-party SDKs collect information about you.

## Children

The app is a professional tool for booth operators and is not directed at

children.

## Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same

address and the "Last updated" date will change.
