I am a graduate research assistant at Auburn University, where I am pursuing a PhD in Applied Economics. I have a MS in Business Analytics from George Washington University and a BS in System and Analysis Mathematics from Penn State University. My core competencies are Python/R programming and quantitative analysis.
As a graduate research assistant, I work with Dr. Sunjae Won to perform economic research addressing realworld problems, such as land management, natural resources, and ecosystem modeling. I use Python, R, and C++ to code, test, and optimize developed models, and then derive valuable insights. I am passionate about using my expertise to contribute to the advancement of science and society, and to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.Â
In my spare time, I like to participate sports like soccer and ice-hockey. Besides, I'm a travel lover and I have visit more than 20 countries in the world. I still have a passion for travel and hope to visit a new country every year. I'm always open to new knowledges, cultures, and ways of thinking.
