The design process of a train asset I designed and modeled. The design goals were to create a dystopian sc-fi train that would drive through the city in my manga
I started with 5 different iterations of designing the train
Brought it into Blender and brought the bottom right concept to life
After the first iteration the train met the goal of looking dystopian but lacked the scfi element to meet both design goals
Started to redesign starting with just shapes
where I was most interested in design 11
Brought design 11 to a finish by filling in the gaps of what the new elements of the train would look like
If there was a power source in the in the front of the new design a simple generator would be wore down by incoming sand in the terrain the train exists, so the engine would have to make sense in the environment

These pieces are part of a collaboration with fashion designer, Greta Mosher, making a series of pieces based on abandoned spaces intertwined with fairytale elements with feelings of nostalgia. The clothing was made to take salvaged pices of fabric and turning them into something new.
The Guiding Flowers

These pieces take large inspiration from things I saw while visiting my mother's home country of India, adapting the imagery and concepts into a futuristic setting, portraying a future I hope to never exist.
