Precision machining has developed my knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and how to hit tolerances. By manufacturing functional parts, I have learned how assemblies interface and how to iterate upon my designs. 

Simply put, I enjoy making blocks of metal into smaller, shinier blocks of metal.
