Do's List ā
ā Makeup & MISC BagĀ
A makeup and miscellaneous bag is a must-have for keeping your essentials organised while travelling. It ensures that all your beauty products, tools, and other small items stay in one place, preventing them from getting mixed up with other toiletries you bring into the shower. With everything neatly stored, you can easily grab what you need without digging through your bag, saving time and keeping your items in good condition. This simple addition makes packing and daily routines so much easier and stress-free.
ā LED Makeup MirrorĀ
An LED makeup mirror may take up more room, but itās totally worth it! Many places you travel to can have poor lighting, making it hard to see clearly in regular mirrors. An LED mirror that lights up ensures you can apply your makeup or do your skincare routine with ease, no matter where you are. Plus, a larger size makes it practical and much easier to use, ensuring you look your best even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.
This makeup packing list is based on personal preference and experience!
When travelling overseas, Iāve found that I wear minimal makeupāsometimes even skipping it entirely, even on a night out! Due to the climate conditions (usually the heat), I tend to avoid heavy face makeup, as it can feel uncomfortable and melt off. Instead, I stick to travel-sized versions of the essentials, which saves space and keeps my routine simple and lightweight.Ā
Itās all about embracing the natural, effortless look while staying comfortable during your travels.

Don'ts List ā
ā Eyeshadow Pallet
My mini eyeshadow palette ended up being unnecessaryāit still took up space in my toiletry bag, but with the minimal makeup I wore, I never reached for it. Plus, in the heat, spending extra time on eyeshadow just wasnāt worth it. Next time, itās staying home!
ā FoundationĀ
During my travels, I skipped daytime makeup entirely, and on nights out, I kept it minimalājust a touch of light eye or face makeup, or sometimes none at all! The heat made the foundation more of a hassle than it was worth, and honestly, it would just melt off within the hour. Embracing the natural look was not only refreshing but also time-savingādefinitely a game-changer for hot climate adventures!
ā Setting Spray
Travelling through hot climates, I quickly realized that setting spray, while refreshing, was pretty much uselessāIād sweat it off within minutes! Instead, powder became my go-to for keeping my makeup in place and lasting longer throughout the day. Lesson learned for my next warm-weather adventure!Ā
ā Mini Mirror
I found myself always reaching for my larger light-up travel mirror, making my mini mirror completely unnecessary. It just sat in my carry-on, taking up space I could have used for something more useful. Next time, I'll definitely leave it behind!
ā Jewellery Organiser & AccessoriesĀ
I kept things simple by wearing my necklaces, bracelets, and rings every day without switching them out. Plus, I picked up some beautiful accessories along the way, making extra jewellery completely unnecessary. In hindsight, the jewellery organiser took up valuable space in my luggageā something Iāll skip next time!
