Kai Smith

I am currently a postdoc at the Morningside Center of Mathematics in Beijing.

In 2023 I received my PhD in mathematics from Indiana University under the supervision of Paul Kirk.

My research studies low dimensional topology using tools from gauge theory and symplectic geometry. See my research page for more details.
