This privacy policy applies to the Kagaz app for mobile devices (the "Application"), operated by AXTRALIX TECHNOLOGIES ("we," "us," "our," or the "Service Provider").
By downloading or using the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully.
Kagaz helps you securely store and organize your important documents (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, and other personal documents) and passwords in one place, so you don't have to search through your phone's gallery or scattered notes to find them.
When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive basic profile information from your Google account, such as your name, email address, and profile picture (if available). This is used solely to identify your account within the Application.
When you add a document (such as an ID card, certificate, or any personal file) or a password entry to Kagaz, this data is:
Stored in a private, app-specific local folder on your device. It is not accessible to other apps on your phone, and it is not uploaded to any external server by default.
Used solely to display the content back to you within the Application when you choose to view it.
We do not access, view, read, analyze, or share the contents of your documents or passwords. This data exists only on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up (see below).
If you choose to enable backup, Kagaz creates a private folder within your own Google Drive account and stores an encrypted/private copy of your documents and passwords there.
This backup is stored in your Google Drive, under your Google account — not on any server owned or operated by AXTRALIX TECHNOLOGIES.
We do not have access to this backup data. Only you, through your own Google account, can access it.
You may disable backup or delete the backup folder at any time through your Google Drive.
Like most apps, we may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:
Device type and operating system version
App usage data (e.g., crash logs, if applicable)
General diagnostic information to help us fix bugs and improve the Application
This information does not include the contents of your documents or passwords.
We use the information described above to:
Operate and maintain the Application
Authenticate your account via Google Sign-In
Provide the backup feature through your own Google Drive
Improve app stability and performance
Communicate important notices about the Application, where necessary
Provide premium features (No Ads, Unlimited Document Uploads, Unlimited Password Storage, Backup) if you subscribe to a premium plan
Kagaz offers an optional premium subscription that unlocks: no ads, unlimited document uploads, unlimited password storage, and cloud backup. Subscription and payment processing (if applicable) is handled through the Google Play billing system, which has its own privacy practices governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Kagaz uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:
Google Play Services — https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Google Sign-In — used for account authentication
Google Drive API — used only if you opt in to the backup feature; stores data exclusively in your own Drive account
AdMob — used to display ads in the free version of the app — https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
We do not sell your personal data, documents, or passwords to any third party.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data within the Application:
Documents and passwords are stored in a private, sandboxed folder that other apps cannot access.
Backup data is transmitted directly to your own Google Drive account using Google's secure APIs.
We do not operate our own servers that store your document or password content.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may, at any time:
Delete any document or password entry directly within the Application
Disable or delete your Google Drive backup at any time through your Google Drive settings
Uninstall the Application to remove all locally stored data from your device

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Kagaz does not sell personal information). Documents and passwords you add remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
Backup data remains in your Google Drive until you delete it yourself.
Account information (from Google Sign-In) is retained only as long as your account is active, plus a limited period thereafter for legal or operational purposes.
Kagaz is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at bline4503@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action.
Where applicable, any data transfer outside your country of residence (such as through Google Sign-In or Google Drive) is handled by Google in accordance with Google's own privacy and data protection practices, including appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required by law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
