Steel Surface Defect Detection: Under the guidance of Prof. Lin and Fityanul Sir, I am working on Steel Surface Defect Detection.
Role: My role was to experiment on the different models of object detection for detecting multiple defects in Steel Surface.
Dataset Used: Severstal Dataset (Over 12k images of different steel defects)
Framework Used: MMDetection (Unified, Modular framework for object detection and segmentation)

Machine Learning Engineer, DeepVisionTech.ai March 2020 - May 2020
I worked on Spare Parts Stock Cycle. My role was to predict the Spare Parts Consumption of the Galaxy Network Equipment. The goal was to optmize the ordering cycle.
We worked in a team to develop optimized Machine Learning Algorithm to solve the problem at hand. This was a first hand experience of delivering end to end Machine Learning Application to be used by the company for their spare parts ordering cycle. We also summarized our key findings using effective visualization to keep all the stakeholders informed about the supply chain flow for Nokia Solutions and Networks.
VIThink - A Student run AI Research Forum, August 2018 - Present
#Research #AIForGood
VIT is a very good place to explore our interests. And when I was exposed to multiple domains and the inspirational breakthroughs, it impacted me, big time. With a bunch of passionate seniors and my batchmates, we started VIThink, a research forum that is actively working on the research projects that matter to mankind!
Role: Core Commitee Member
If you are excited B.Tech student, wanting to channeled skill development, VIThink is your place. At VIThink, we regularly conduct workshops, hackathons.
Research Projects are also taken up by students, duly approved by faculty advisor, Dr. Susan Elias Ma'am. Focus is not only on fancy AI hype, we rather prefer working on projects having large scale societal impact.
In 2019, we conducted AI Conclave, a place where students showcased their projects to industry experts, followed by a panel discussion on AI adaptation in India, its challenges, etc.

#IEEE #CompSoc
Role: I am an integral part of IEEE Computer Society. As a Bootcamp Coordinator, my role is to conduct workshops on topics revolving aroung Machine Learning.
Project: As a member, I also worked on a project, funded by Euro Exim Bank. I worked with Muse Headset and Emotiv Epoc Plus. We implemented a system where we could play games by our mind waves! It was a very exciting project and helped me personally in getting a better understanding of our brain. Neural Networks and our Brain, favourite analogy, ever discovered.
