Mathematics is far more than formulas, calculations, or exam scores—it is a way of thinking, a language for patterns, and a tool to explore the world. Inspired by the renowned Maths Circle initiative of ICTS-TIFR, Bengaluru, KAAS is proud to launch its own Maths Circle from October 4, 2025, designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and a deeper love for mathematics.

The KAAS Maths Circle aims to make mathematics fun and engaging while developing strong problem-solving skills through non-routine challenges. By fostering logical reasoning, persistence, and creativity, it helps students build confidence in tackling difficult problems and appreciate the beauty of mathematics beyond textbooks. The program will also create a collaborative community of learners, preparing participants for Olympiads, competitive entrance exams, and future research in mathematics and science.

Sample Problems:

• Matchstick Puzzle: Using only 6 matchsticks, can you form 4 equilateral triangles?

• Number Riddle: Find a two-digit number divisible by the sum of its digits.

• Logical Challenge: You meet two people—one says, “We are both liars.” Who is telling the truth?

• Geometric Exploration: A unit square inscribed in a circle, with another square rotated by 45°. What is the smaller square’s side length?

• Pattern Search: What is the units digit of 11 + 22 + 33 + … + 100100?
