A Year-Long, K-8 Technology Integration Curriculum based on G Suite for Education (formerly Google Applications for Education)

The K-8 technology integration lesson plans and other technology integration resources on this site provide a year-long, K-8 technology integration curriculum for computer specialists, technology specialists, computer teachers, technology teachers, technology integrators, media specialists, classroom teachers and homeschoolers.

The majority of the K-8 technology integration lesson plans are based on the main applications tools in the G Suite for Education. (formerly Google Applications for Education or GAFE)

Our K-8 technology lesson plans are based on the National Education Technology Standards (NETS) and address state standards in language arts, mathematics, social studies and science.

They are designed for use on PC’s, Laptops, Macintosh, Chromebooks, iPads and iPhones.

Each of our K-8 google online lesson plans includes a 1-Page Online Guide. Our 1-Page Online Guides provide an overview of the integrated lesson and the technology skills required. The guide also provides links to all the resources required for the lesson:

• Project Templates - that provide an easy way to initiate projects and keep the entire class together
• 1-page Sample - that provide a model and help students visualize the end result

Our “K-8 Online Resource Center” makes it simple to use our google lesson plans with an entire class.

To make it simple for students and teachers to access our library of K-8 online google lesson plans and other online resources we have created a K-8 Online Resource Center. The K-8 Online Resource Center provides links to all the 1-Page Online Guides for each grade level.

The ideal way for students and teachers to access the K-8 Online Resource Center is by clicking on a shortcut on the desktop of all computers they will be using at school. Many schools place a link to the K-8 Online Resource Center on the school’s web page (as well as individual teacher web pages) for easy access at both school and at home.

Once students are on the Online Resource Center page for their grade they simply need to click on the name of the lesson to access the handout, projects template, sample and links to the recommended websites.
