Hello Families,
This week we will focus on Holy Week and watch the Living Stations on Wednesday. We will have a review in ELA, talk about where different types of animals live and the letter sounds "V" and "X". We will begin addition in Math. If you have any leftover jelly beans upon our return to school that you wish to donate, we will be using them for an addition project!
There will not be homework this week or next. We will pick it up again on the 13th. The children will be asked to do an Earth Day project. The assignment is to turn something that is considered trash or recycling into a treasure. I have had children make instruments out of paper towel rolls or strawberry containers. They can be as creative as they would like. All projects should be brought into school on Wednesday, April 22nd.
Out of respect for the holiday, we will NOT be having an Easter party. However, Mrs. Miller and I have a gift for your children that we will send home on Wednesday. If you would like to send in a small gift, please do so on Wednesday.
I am still working to firm up the date for the Mother's Day Tea with Mrs. Osborn. As soon as I have the date, I will let you know.
April 20th will begin SUMMER Uniforms. Please continue to send your student in the FULL winter uniform. On warm days, students are able to take off the sweatshirt, but sweatpants must be worn till April 20th.
June 4th will be our Kindergarten Closing Ceremony.

There will not be a weekly letter next week. I wish you all a wonderful Easter. Enjoy your time together.
