Flexible Survival Modeling × Health Big Data Applications
My research focuses on developing flexible methods for survival analysis, particularly accelerated failure time models, joint models, mixture-based approaches, and methods for addressing immortal time bias. I also develop R packages to facilitate the practical application of these statistical methods. In collaboration with clinical researchers from diverse medical specialties, I conduct epidemiologic studies using large-scale cohort data, particularly Korean national health databases, to address important population health questions and develop reliable disease prediction models.
