C. Health Data (via Apple HealthKit):
- If you grant permission, we access your HealthKit data (steps, workouts, etc.)
- This data is used only within the app for your fitness tracking
- We do NOT upload or share HealthKit data with third parties
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your user account
- Send you authentication codes (email and SMS)
- Process payments for Beginner and Advanced programs
- Display your workout history and progress
- Allow trainers to assign you workout plans
- Provide AI-powered exercise feedback (via Google Gemini)
- Send app updates and support communications
- Improve app functionality and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations
- Prevent fraud and unauthorized access
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
A. Google Firebase:
- Handles user authentication (email and phone)
- Stores your profile data and workout information in Firestore database
- Processes analytics about app usage

B. Google Gemini AI:
- When you use voice logging, your audio recording is sent to Google Gemini API
- Gemini analyzes your voice and generates exercise feedback
- Your audio is processed to create workout suggestions and form corrections

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
- Your account data is encrypted and stored in Google Firebase Firestore
- Payment information is processed by Google Play / Apple App Store (we do NOT store credit card details)
- Access to your data is restricted to your own account
- Trainers can only see their own clients' workout data
- We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information
5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
- Your account data remains in our system as long as your account exists
- Upon account deletion, we delete:
- Your profile information
- Your workout history
- Your associated trainer links
- Your voice logs
- Deletion may take up to 30 days to complete
- Google Firebase may retain backups for up to 90 days for recovery purposes
- Payment records may be retained longer for legal/tax compliance
6. USER ROLES AND DATA PRIVACY
A. Gym-Goer Role:
- You can see only your own workouts and progress
- You cannot see other gym-goers' data
- Your trainer can see only the workouts they assigned to you
- Your data is private and isolated
B. Trainer Role:
- You can create and manage clients
- You can see only your assigned clients' progress
- You cannot see other trainers' clients or data
- Client data is only visible to that specific trainer
7. AI-GENERATED CONTENT
When you use the voice logging feature:
- Your audio is analyzed by Google Gemini AI
- The AI generates exercise feedback and suggestions
- This feedback is displayed in your workout history
- Using voice logging is OPTIONAL - you can manually log exercises instead
- Your audio is processed for immediate feedback only and is not retained for training AI models
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Jymm is designed for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information and notify the parent/guardian.
9. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
You have the right to:
- Access all your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your workout history
- Opt-out of voice logging (use manual logging instead)
- Disable HealthKit sync
