Below are some Frequently Asked Questions (to be added..)

1. Do I need experience in coding?

Preferred, but not necessary. We have Google/ChatGPT!

My first coding experience was in the 3rd year of my Ph.D.

2. What do you want from your students?

Self motivation, definitely! During my Ph.D. and postdoc, I kept bothering my advisors with quick updates via email/phone call which 

made me very productive. I expect you to do so, and I would be happy to provide helpful feedbacks ASAP.

3. My research background is not chemical engineering. Is it okay to contact/apply?

Of course! Our research projects are based on multidiscipline and collaboration, we also welcome students with different major,

such as computer science, energy/environmental engineering, mathematics, chemistry, biology, and the other interesting majors!
