Fifth Grade Dance: Performance Focus!

Fifth Grade Dance is a full year course that meets five days a week and offers students a more in-depth understanding of dance.  Students will learn and create choreography, learn to do self-evaluations as well as give feedback to their peers, continue practicing dance technique in various styles, and will also learn about dance from a historical and cultural perspective. 

Our Fifth Grade Dancers will perform in our winter AND spring musicals!

PLEASE NOTE: 

**Dancers may bring their own ballet, jazz, or tap shoes to class (or half-soled shoes), but it is not required. If they are bringing their own shoes, they should use a small dance bag to bring the shoes to class every day!

**There is a $25 Costume/Art Fee for classroom supplies

**If students are wearing a skirt or jumper to school while they're in dance, please make sure they're wearing shorts underneath!
