From guitar-driven indie pop tunes to full electronic dance floor fillers, JWJB is also a fusion of the two. Sources of inspiration include the Manchester music scene, with acts such as New Order and Joy Division. Other influences outside of Manchester include: Kraftwerk, LCD Soundstystem, John Grant and Goldfrapp. All songs are written by JWJB.
Joseph Britner was born 10th of February and grew up surrounded by music through his parents. His desire to create music began at the age of 10, when his dad played a demo recording by his uncle. Hearing his recordings got him thinking that he could do this’, and so he did. In 2016, he made his first collection of demos. They were the start of what would become a long journey of trial, error and improvement. In 2020, he discovered New Order, who have heavily inspired his songwriting and performances ever since. (Plus, it's his favourite band)
