TERMS & CONDITIONS
Delivery and Collection Fee
Delivery and return at Penang International Airport (PIA) are free of charge.
Other locations may require delivery fee depending on distance; please contact our admin for a quotation.
Provide self-pickup.
Driver's Age and License Requirements
The drivers must be between 21 and 65 years old. Other nationals with valid International Driving Permit can drive in Malaysia for a maximum of 3 months. Probational license holders will not be accepted.
Additional Driver
All additional drivers must register upon vehicle pick-up, subject to these terms & conditions. We reserve the right to charge any amount and penalties if the hirer hands over the vehicles to an unauthorized driver.
Minimum Rental
The minimum rental is one day (24 hours). An extension above 10 hours is considered a full-day rate.
Vehicle Collection
Full payment needs to be settled upon vehicle collection.
During vehicle collection, the hirer must check for any damage or missing parts to the vehicles. Please inform our staff immediately if the hirer found any damage or missing parts before collecting the vehicle. Any damage or missing part not reported earlier will be considered under the hirer's responsibility. Hirer are encouraged to take photos/videos of the car exterior and interior during pick-up and return.
Insurance & Excess
All vehicles are fully insured with a standard motor vehicle policy. However, the hirer is responsible for the excess not exceeding MYR10,000 - MYR20,000.
The hirer can reduce the excess from MYR10,000 to MYR1,000 by purchasing optional Excess Protection for MYR30.00 per day - MYR50.00 per day (depends on vehicle category).
All insurance and excess protection do not apply for damage or loss due to careless action, negligence, or illegal or improper vehicle use. The insurance and excess protection also do not cover tyre punctures, burst tyres, fuel errors, battery damage because of forgotten turned-off electrical devices and loss or damage to the vehicle accessories.
The accident or damage only applies to the collision between two moving objects. Any damage while the vehicle is stationary will be under hirer's full responsibility and subjected to the above excess and excess protection.
For damage involving a third party, the hirer must get information from the third-party driver, including the driver's name, IC/passport, driving license, and vehicle registration number. If the claim cannot be made against third-party insurance, all damage will be under the hirer's responsibility and subjected to the above excess or excess protection.
The hirer is reminded that underbody and overhead damage is always at their own risk. All insurance and excess protection are void if the vehicle is driven on an unsealed, unmade road or surface.
The hirer must contact our representatives to inform us of any event of accidents or car theft.
A police report should be made within 24 hours after the accident or when you've discovered the theft or loss. The police report should be obtained in writing.
Mechanical Breakdown & Emergency Assistance
If the vehicle experiences a mechanical failure due to normal wear and tear, the hirer will not be charged. We will assist with towing service, repair arrangements and replacement vehicle (subject to availability).
Charges will apply for breakdowns caused by:
Running out of fuel
Wrong fuel used
Overheating due to ignoring warning lights
Driving with low/no engine oil
Tyre punctures, blown tyres, rim damage
Battery drained due to lights or electrical items being left on
Off-road driving or unsuitable road conditions
If warning lights appear (engine, temperature, battery, oil), the hirer must stop immediately and contact us. Continuing to drive may result in additional charges.
Deposit
A deposit of RM100–RM500 is required depending on car model.
Deposit is refunded within 3–14 working days after return, subject to:
No summons
No excess charges
No damage
No missing items
No cleaning penalty
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancellation within 7 days of booking date → Deposit is non-refundable
Cancellation 7–14 days before booking → 50% refund
Changes must be informed at least 5 days before booking date
Changing car model is subject to availability
Early termination → No refund for remaining rental days
Penalties
Smoking is prohibited inside the car. A penalty of MYR300 will be charged for cleaning any unpleasant odour.
All traffic/parking summons (if any) will be under the hirer's responsibility. A penalty of MYR300 will be charged if the customer fails to pay the summons within the time specified after we send the notification. Please notify us if the customer has received a summons or made a payment for a summons during your rental period.
Car Park
The driver is responsible for covering their car park fees. Drivers are encouraged to download the Penang Smart Parking App for public car parks. Kindly ensure that the vehicle is parked in the designated parking space.
Speed Limit
The speed limit for highways in Malaysia is 110 KM/hr, while the normal speed for roads is 90 KM/hr. Please drive carefully and obey traffic rules. The Hirer is responsible for covering all expenses related to petrol, toll charges, and any traffic fines or summonses incurred throughout the rental period.
Returning The Vehicle
Please inform us if you want to return or extend the rental.
Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to charge full-day rental for cancellations under 2 days.
In the event of early termination or before the rental agreement period ends, the hirer has no right to refund any or part of the charges.
Baby Seat Rental
The baby seat is FREE provided during the rental period.
The hirer assumes responsibility for the maintenance and cleanliness of the baby seat. A penalty of RM 150 will be imposed for deep cleaning if uncleanable dirt is present at the end of the rental period.
In the event of non-return, breakage, or loss of the baby seat, the hirer will be charged RM 350.
