If you want over-ear style audio quality for active video calls and sports, choose JVC HAEB75S; if you need ultra-thin wireless comfort for sleeping on your side or a washable headband for workouts, choose Fulext Sleep Headphones.
• JVC HAEB75S: Offers powerful 13.5 mm drivers and a secure adjustable clip for active use, but requires a wired connection that can limit mobility during long sessions. Best for athletes and commuters who prioritize sound fidelity and durability over wireless freedom.
• Fulext Sleep Headphones: Features Bluetooth 5.4 technology with a 14-hour battery life and a machine-washable design, though the thin profile sacrifices the deep bass punch of traditional headphones. Ideal for side sleepers, gym-goers, and anyone needing hands-free calls without bulk.
The JVC HAEB75S is built for people who refuse to compromise on audio clarity while they are moving. At just 4.54 grams, this headset is incredibly light, yet it packs a 13.5 mm neodymium driver capable of delivering a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. This isn't a toy; it is designed to handle the dynamic demands of sports and daily commutes. The ear placement is an in-ear hook design, which means it stays put even when you are sweating through a run or navigating a busy subway station.
What really sets this model apart for active users is its physical construction. The splash-proof rating ensures that sudden rain showers or intense perspiration won't fry the electronics. Combined with the friction noise-reduction cord, which measures 3.94 feet, the design minimizes the tangle of wires that often plagues wired headphones. You get a 3.5 mm jack compatible with iPhones and iPods, ensuring you have a slim plug that fits standard devices without needing bulky adapters. The adjustable clip is another critical feature; it allows you to lock the fit securely so the headphones don't bounce around during high-intensity movements.
However, this product has clear limitations based on its wired nature. If you are looking for the ultimate convenience of untethered movement for extended periods, the 3.94-foot cord will eventually feel restrictive. Furthermore, there is no active noise cancellation or advanced control method beyond basic remote functionality. It does not isolate noise electronically; instead, it relies on the in-ear fit to block out the world. This makes it a fantastic choice for runners who want to hear their music clearly and stay aware of their surroundings, but it might be frustrating for someone trying to block out a noisy office environment completely.

This headset is perfect for the person who needs best sweatproof kids headphones for video calls or general fitness tracking where reliability trumps wireless convenience. It is also a strong contender for those seeking over ear headphones for video calls in a rugged format, provided the user doesn't mind managing a cable. If you are an adult athlete who values durability and wants a simple, one-year warranty-backed device that handles water resistance well, this is the tool for you.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones take a completely different approach, focusing entirely on the intersection of comfort, connectivity, and versatility. Weighing in at 0.1 kg, this device is essentially a headband rather than traditional headphones. Its primary claim to fame is the ability to function as a wireless sleep aid, a sports headband, and a standard headphone all in one. The design utilizes Bluetooth 5.4 technology, which offers a stable connection up to 10 meters away from your source device. This level of modern wireless tech ensures that you can move freely around your bedroom or living space without worrying about dropouts.
Comfort is the absolute priority here, especially for side sleepers. The speakers are ultra-thin, measuring only 0.25 inches in thickness, which prevents the painful pressure points that come from wearing bulky headphones against a pillow. The control module sits in the middle of the speakers, keeping the hardware away from your ears so you can lie on your side without discomfort. The material is a breathable mesh lining made of durable braided cord and spandex, making it hypoallergenic and soft against the skin. Perhaps most importantly for hygiene-conscious buyers, the entire unit is machine washable, provided you remove the control pod first.
Battery life is another area where this product shines for overnight use. A mere two-hour charge provides up to 14 hours of talk time or audio play, ensuring you can sleep through the night and still have power for a morning workout or a long commute. The built-in microphone allows for hands-free calling, meaning you won't miss important calls even while wearing the headband. The touch controller lets you manage volume and track changes without reaching for your phone, which is essential when you are already tucked under covers.
This product is ideal for the side sleeper who finds traditional earbuds uncomfortable or the person who wants a single device to replace both their sleep mask and their workout gear. It is particularly relevant for anyone searching for best bone conduction headphones for video calls alternatives, offering a unique form factor that keeps ears open and unobstructed. While it may not offer the same raw power as heavy-duty sports gear, its 102 dB sensitivity and dynamic drivers provide HiFi sound that is surprisingly clear for such a thin profile. If you value a five-year free warranty and the ability to wash your audio gear, this is the superior choice.
• Best for Battery Life: Fulext Sleep Headphones win easily with a 14-hour runtime compared to the JVC's reliance on an unlimited wired power source, making Fulext better for all-day travel without charging.
• Best for Active Sweat Resistance: Both are splash-proof or sweat-resistant, but the JVC HAEB75S is explicitly rated for sports splashes with a secure clip, whereas Fulext focuses on breathability and washability for general wear.
• Best for Side Sleeping: Fulext Sleep Headphones are the undisputed winner here due to the 0.25-inch thin profile and central control module that avoids ear pressure.
• Best for Sound Power: JVC HAEB75S features a larger 13.5 mm driver compared to the Fulext's ultra-thin units, likely delivering more robust bass and volume for active listening.

• Best for Durability: JVC comes with a one-year warranty and plastic enclosure, while Fulext offers a five-year free warranty and a machine-washable fabric design.
• Best for Video Calls: Fulext provides a built-in microphone with touch controls and wireless flexibility, making it easier to answer calls on the go, whereas JVC requires managing a cord while using the remote.
• Best for Comfort During Rest: Fulext's soft, breathable mesh and lack of hard plastic near the ear make it far superior for lying down or resting compared to the rigid hooks of the JVC.
In my opinion, the Fulext Sleep Headphones are the smarter buy for most modern consumers, especially those interested in using audio gear for video calls while maintaining a comfortable lifestyle. The combination of Bluetooth 5.4, a massive 14-hour battery, and a washable design solves the biggest pain points of traditional headphones: tangled wires, dead batteries, and hygiene issues. While the JVC HAEB75S is a solid, reliable piece of kit for running, the Fulext's versatility as a sleep aid, workout companion, and casual listener makes it a more valuable investment. I would choose the Fulext because it adapts to my life rather than forcing me to adapt to its constraints.
Yes, the Fulext Sleep Headphones include a built-in microphone and touch controls for hands-free calling, making them suitable for video conferences. The JVC HAEB75S also supports calls via its remote but requires managing a wired connection.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones offer a significant advantage with up to 14 hours of playback on a two-hour charge. The JVC HAEB75S is wired and draws power directly from your device, so it has no internal battery to recharge.
Absolutely. The Fulext headband is made of durable, breathable materials and is machine washable once you remove the electronic control pod, ensuring long-term hygiene. The JVC is splash-proof but cannot be submerged or washed.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones are specifically designed for side sleepers with their 0.25-inch thin profile and central control placement to prevent ear pressure. The JVC's in-ear hook design is generally too bulky for comfortable side sleeping.
