Dissertation Title: Three Essays on Generative AI: Search, Safety, and Agency
My dissertation addresses three dimensions of generative AI—search, safety, and agency—building on themes such as digital search, consumer behavior, and human–technology interaction. By studying how users adopt and adapt to AI tools, how perceived bias in AI responses shapes user engagement, and how consumers can collaborate with AI in service settings, I investigate how emerging technologies transform the consumer journey and inform the strategic design of AI-enabled experiences
I integrate LLM-driven data enrichment—through unstructured text analysis and synthetic data generation—with econometric techniques for causal identification.
