I did my PhD and Habilitation in Philosophy with the focus on formal semantics of natural language. I am currently a member and vice-dean for research and international cooperation of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. In years 2017-2020 I coordinated the Cognitive Science Programme (first-cycle) at the University of Warsaw. I am engaged in a research aimed at developing a formally explicit account of meaning in natural language. My work applies advanced type-theoretic tools (dependent types, monads) and experimental methods to the study of natural language phenomena such as quantifier scope, unbound anaphora, scopal properties of definites and indefinites.
