English Vocabulary Leaning Fun Activities - Free. The crossword and word search puzzles in the folders below are good for all learners. You do not need the books to be able to do them. The vocabulary they include, you need to know. Puzzles are engaging and help you remember words. The titles will give you a hint; search on Google and try the puzzle. The word search and the crosswords have the same answers, so you can check if you got it right. Challenge yourself 🙂

Reading for Speed and Fluency - Second Edition (Compass Publishing) I have used books 1,2 and 3 in this series. They are very useful, and with a bit of imagination, the teacher can easily devise fun activities to use with them. The books contain interesting topics and frequently used words useful to any English learner. You do not need to use the book to enjoy the games below. Choose a topic and give it a try! Give the students a few minutes to research the topic online, share in groups, and then do the puzzles. Both the word search and the crosswords share the same answers, so with a lower-level group, do the word search first, put it away, and do the crossword.

Let’s Talk 1 seems to have stood the test of time rather well. I know it is still being used. Please feel free to browse and download as you wish. Textbooks come and go, but the vocabulary students need remains the same.
