Welcome to my site. I am a senior lecturer (assistant professor) in finance at ECU. My research interests are in empirical corporate finance, corporate governance, financial accounting, financial markets, climate finance, labor finance, and CSR/ESG. As well as having received best paper awards in a number of prestigious finance conferences, my recent papers have been published/forthcoming in internationally recognized journals (FT-50/ABDC-A*) such as Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance (x3), Journal of Banking and Finance (x2), Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, European Accounting Review, and Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, among others. My research projects have attracted several competitive grants exceeding $350,000, and covered by leading think tank such as CATO Institute. I am an active contributor to the academic community through presenting and discussing papers in more than 50 seminars/conferences; supervising PhD students in both finance and accounting fields; and regularly reviewing submissions at top-tier journals. I also currently serve as Associate Editor of European Journal of Finance, and in scientific committee of the Vietnam International Conference in Finance.
