Temple Church has served as the parish church since the earth 14th century. It was built on the site of a previous church of the Knights Templar. The church was severely damaged by the Nazi bombings in 1940 during World War II and was never rebuilt. It is somewhat famous for its leaning tower. See Wikipedia for more details.
