Teaching

I am very passionate about teaching and mentoring students. Along with regular instruction of courses,  at FSU I participated in the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) as a Research Mentor. As a Research Mentor, I give undergraduate students the opportunity to engage in research for the first time over the course of an academic year, which culminates in an undergraduate research symposium. Additionally, I served as an advisor in the Research Intensive Bachelor Certificate (RIBC). This program provides a select group of students with training in advanced research skills and experiences in practical research in the academic setting. At Penn State I serve as an honors thesis advisor, and I oversee graduate assistants and undergraduate research assistants.
