How to use this toolkit:
This toolkit is intended to support the launch of the Just Transition Listening Project report Workers and Communities in Transition.
You can post out of this toolkit directly to Twitter by clicking the "Click to tweet" links below each post, or by copying and pasting into whichever social media platform you're posting on.
Please continue to post out of this toolkit after its launch. There is enough content included here to support continuous social media posting for several days after the launch on April 27th. All you need to do is copy and paste!
Content is divided by theme. Posts focused on the main findings of the report are included on the home page, and posts focused on specific sections of the report and the congressional briefing are included in the pages found in the dropdown menu in the upper lefthand corner.
It's important to tag our allies and target audiences when we post. If you post a graphic with your post on Twitter, you can tag up to ten accounts without using up any of your character count. There is a page with social media handles of JTLP committee members and a page with social media handles for all current members of congress. If you'd like to find the social media handle for a specific member of congress, open the embedded google spreadsheet and use the search function in google sheets to locate a congressperson by name or state.

Nobody gets left behind in a #JustTransition.
We need to aggressively protect displaced workers through a comprehensive set of policies appropriate for their circumstances, including wage replacement, alternative and comparable employment, health insurance coverage, relocation support, childcare, and pension and retirement contributions.
Policies should also cover clerical, seasonal, and part-time workers impacted by the transition.

Strengthening and expanding social protections is critical to a #JustTransition.
This includes universal access to health insurance and decoupling from employer-based health coverage, childcare, and a living wage.
