My wife started in May 2017 when Just Like Home Adult Day Center opened. Two days a week and in a wheel chair. She had advanced memory issues. After a while the staff had to totally feed her, and they did a great job. As time went on, my wife needed more care, and came three full days per week. It worked great! Several times I had family emergencies. Registered Nurse Mike let her come in to help me tremendously. My gal really liked anything musical - piano, singing, CD's, etc... They have many hands-on activities for clients that are able to do so. The Center is well staffed to handle the clients that attend. Finally, I would highly recommend Just Like Home for a loved one that can't be alone and needs safe/secure care"... John W.

It was a blessing for me to find a place like this, as I needed time to be by myself; to do my shopping, Dr. Appointments, and go to workout. It was a lot of work getting Dan ready, plus he moved slow and it was hard getting him in and out of the car.

Also when I was hospitalized, it was the perfect place for him as my son had to be with him, and when he had to go to his work place, he didn't have to worry about his father!

I want to tell everyone where they should put their loved ones for loving care..."Just Like Home Adult Day Center" is the place.

In all the time that my mother went to ... (another Adult Day Center in Washington County), this is the first time that she ever received a card on her birthday. It was so thoughtful of all of you. She was really touched by it, as was I.

I thought maybe someone would wish her a Happy Birthday (as they may have done), but the personalization was so appreciated.

I was looking for a senior adult day center program when I found out about “Just Like Home” Adult Day Center.

Mom has Alzheimer's Disease, and needs constant attention. When Mom and I first visited “Just Like Home”, the facilities were quite impressive.

Everything was in excellent condition and quite inviting, but not nearly as impressive as the staff. Mom started out three afternoons a week but did attend up to five afternoons. “Just Like Home” was very flexible with our schedule, and we were required to just let them know the week prior.

Mom really enjoyed her afternoons at “Just Like Home”. Each afternoon held something different to keep mom engaged. There were different activities like sing-a-longs, arts and crafts, bingo, baking, going out for a walk, or just sitting outside on the patio.

Mom's favorite activity was just the interaction she had with the staff. The amount of interaction between the staff and the client is the absolute BEST thing about “Just Like Home”. Mom was treated like she was a part of each of the staffs' family!

Mother’s disease has progressed, and she has moved into an Assisted Living Facility. It was very difficult to say good-bye to our “Just Like Home” family... Amanda, Sharon, Barb, Mike, Sandi, and Sonja not only opened their hearts to mom, but also to me, and they are all wonderful people.

“Just Like Home” allowed mom to socialize and be engaged with others, while allowing me to have some guilt-free time for myself. When at “Just Like Home”, I always knew my mom was being treated with dignity and respect, while being safe and getting wonderful attention and care.

If you are looking for an Adult Day Center that goes above and beyond, I would strongly recommend and encourage you to check out “Just Like Home” Adult Day Center!
