Overview
Just Close Tab - Mouse Gesture closes the current tab when the user holds the right mouse button and moves the mouse downward on a regular HTTPS page.
Data Collection
The extension does not collect or store:
• Personal information
• Browsing history
• Website content
• Form input
• Authentication information
• Personal communications
• URLs
The extension does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising, or tracking.
Mouse Gesture Processing
To recognize a downward mouse gesture, the extension temporarily processes right-button mouse events and mouse movement coordinates on the user's device.
This information is used only to determine whether the configured gesture distance has been reached.
Mouse event and movement information is not stored, logged, transmitted to an external server, shared with third parties, or used for analytics or tracking.
Only genuine user mouse events are accepted for gesture recognition. Script-generated synthetic mouse events are rejected.
Local Setting
The extension stores only one setting, “gestureDistance”, in the extension's local IndexedDB database.
This value is an integer from 1 through 300 and controls how far the mouse must move for the gesture to be recognized.
The setting remains on the user's device and is never sent to an external server.
The extension does not store browsing history, URLs, website content, form input, or mouse movement history.
Site Access
A content script runs on regular HTTPS pages only to detect trusted right-button mouse events and determine whether the configured downward gesture was completed.
This access is not used to collect, save, or transmit page text, form input, browsing history, personal information, or URLs.
The content script runs in an isolated environment separate from the website's own JavaScript.
Tab Closing
When a valid gesture is detected, the extension requests that only the tab from which the verified gesture originated be closed.
The source of the request is validated before the tab is closed.
The extension does not attempt to close another tab if the requested tab cannot be closed, and one valid gesture results in at most one tab-close request.
External Communication and Data Sharing
The extension makes no external network connections.
It does not sell, share, transfer, or otherwise provide user data to third parties.
Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
The extension contains no advertising and uses no analytics, telemetry, or tracking services.
Remote Code
The extension does not use remotely hosted code.
All executable code is included in the extension package.
Limited Use
The extension does not transfer user data and does not receive user information from Google APIs.
Its data practices comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Policy
If the extension's data practices change, this Privacy Policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before those changes are released.

This extension is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
The extension intentionally closes the current browser tab when the configured mouse gesture is recognized. Users are responsible for saving any important work before using the extension.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this extension, including accidental tab closure or loss of unsaved data.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
