Hi, I'm Bec. I am a qualified yoga teacher with several years of experience and I love what I do. Having taught throughout New Zealand and the Bay of Plenty, I have seen so many beautiful places and met so many inspiring people. My offerings are founded from Contemporary Yoga Training which extends the study of natural movement patterns using a somatic approach. Sharing the practice of yoga helps to enhance awareness of breath, movement, and conscious rest - all things we can benefit from in our every day lives. Learning to connect with your mind and body is an empowering experience and it is an honour for me to facilitate it.
I am dedicated to refining the art of teaching through mindful, enquiry-based language, and integrated embodiment through self renewing. The language I use in my classes is important, and my teaching incorporates an awareness of any words that could connect to trauma of any kind. I provide a safe, nurturing environment so you can take the steps you need to heal and connect.
Whether you're overcoming a physical injury or another type of trauma such as stress, anxiety, or difficult feelings or thoughts, I can provide a class suited to your needs and ability.
