Short research statement

I am an applied economist interested in financial and macroeconomic phenomena. My main research interest are novel payment systems that exploit the network structure of interfirm debts. These could have large potential benefits and could be implemented across the world.  The second strand of my research analyzes how monetary policy and public procurement affect prices, particularly through interactions with firm market power.
