Our story

Crescendo Theatre was founded in 2010 with the vision of giving all our students a chance to shine whether on stage or off stage. Since then we have kept true to our promise. Regardless of how talented (or untalented) you might think you are, we want to help you reach your fullest potential!

Who we are

“What I like about cca is that although we play alot of games and have a lot of fun, the games also help in teaching us what drama is all about and how to be more disciplined actors.”

“When I was in Secondary One, I was an introvert. I never really knew how to express my emotions well or my enthusiasm. I never really dared to participate in the games and activities during our CCA session. But the seniors were so friendly and inviting, it made me feel more comfortable and I slowly started to open up, and with the friends I made in CCA, found a source of motivation to be more expressive. The games that were played also included values I believed in and that helped me build up on my own personal values. As time passed, I started to be more active and extroverted. I communicated more with my Drama peers and participated a lot more in games. Now, in Secondary 3, I am proud to say I’m the vice-president of this CCA. and to the person I am today, really it’s all thanks to Drama.”

“When I was in Secondary One , I was a small and shy girl. I had trouble performing in front of others and i found it troubling to talk in front of a big crowd. However , the people in drama helped me to be the person I am today. I had learn to be more confident and more open to the people around me. I had many experiences like SYF and Soiree to help me improve my self confidence. I remember how afraid I was for SYF but the seniors helped me to calm down and helped me become more confident in myself. Ever since I joined drama, I have improved in ways I never thought I would. I wish I had more time to spend with this CCA and I will continue to cheer them on in the years ahead.”
