The Youth Ambassadors Program is a foreign exchange program sponsored by the United States Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Its purpose is to promote mutual understanding, develop leadership skills, and prepare high school students to make a difference in their communities. During this program, participants partake in a two-week foreign exchange and develop a several month-long community initiative upon returning home. Youth Ambassadors is a great way to gain intercultural and multilingual exposure, and the program provides many opportunities for students across the Western Hemisphere to engage in learning and bolster leadership!
