8. Data Deletion and Retention Policy
At Junta Watch, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account or any personal information associated with it, please follow the procedure below:
How to Request Deletion: Users must send a formal data deletion request via email to rajeshtelikicherla@gmail.com. Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and send the email from the account registered with the application to verify your identity.
Processing Time: Upon receipt of your request, we will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7–10 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.
Data Scope: Deleting your account will remove your personal profile information (name, email, and contact details) from our active databases.
Archival & Public Record: To maintain the integrity of civic reporting and public accountability, the civic reports you have submitted (e.g., photos of issues, descriptions, and location tags) will not be deleted. However, these reports will be permanently anonymized, ensuring they can no longer be linked to your identity.
