Health IncentivesWe provide incentives for completing a wellness screening and displaying healthy biometric results. Last year, more than 13,400 employees and dependents completed wellness screenings (on-site, voucher and with personal doctors). They can also earn incentives for completing an online health questionnaire and for not using tobacco.

The EAP provides access to expert consultants, research and referral services, and online resources at no cost to you. The EAP provides up to eight free confidential sessions per concern, per year to all employees and each of their household members, regardless if they are covered under the company's health insurance.

These grants have been established by Springfield College to support the education of partnership employees in leadership in service to others. Many students who have been awarded federal work-study, finance a portion of their educational expenses through part-time on-campus or off-campus employment. Students are paid directly, biweekly, based on hours worked.

Biography

I have been working as a geologist for over two and a half decades. First, I worked full time as a field & lab technician, and geologist while pursuing my Bachelors of Science degree in Geology from CSU Los Angeles (1992); I then worked full time as a geologist in a variety of locations, including borate/kaolin drilling, large grading operations, and landslide mitigation while completing my Masters of Science in Geology, also from CSU Los Angeles (2002). Recently I've added "oceanographer" to the list. Additionally, I have over eighteen years of teaching experience on the ethnically diverse campuses of CSU Los Angeles and Pasadena City College.
