Fostering the bond between people by creating rainforest experiences as a third place to increase livability of the city
This building explores the potential for urban revitalization of Jalan P. Ramlee, a prominent street in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, through the lens of interpretation of vernacular architecture as an integral aspect of the urban environment. Drawing upon the rich history and cultural significance of the area, the building highlights the importance of preserving and revitalizing the street's cultural heritage to reclaim its identity and create a unique sense of place. By integrating elements such as historic preservation, adaptive reuse, cultural programming, and community engagement, Jalan P. Ramlee can be transformed into a vibrant and thriving cultural hub that showcases Malaysia's diverse heritage and offers a memorable urban experience.
