Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Junk Cleaner accesses on your device, how it is used, and what is — and is not — collected.

2. Information We Access

To provide its core features, the App accesses:

• File names, sizes, locations, and content on your device storage, to identify junk files, duplicate files, duplicate and visually similar photos, large files, and cached data

• The list of apps installed on your device, to display storage and cache usage per app

• Device storage and memory (RAM) usage, to display available space

• Downloaded files and APK installer files on your device, to help you review and clean them

3. What We Do NOT Do

We do not upload, transmit, sell, or share the contents of your files with any third party. All scanning, comparison, and file analysis happens entirely on your device. We do not read the contents of your personal documents or media beyond what is needed to detect duplicates, junk, or file type.

4. You Are Always in Control

Junk Cleaner never deletes any file automatically. Every scan shows you exactly what was found, and you must review and confirm your selection before anything is permanently deleted. Deletion cannot be undone, so please review your selections carefully.

5. Permissions Explained

The App may request the following permissions:

• Storage / All Files Access — to scan for and remove junk files, duplicates, large files, and other files you choose to delete

• Installed Apps / Package Visibility — to display cache and storage usage for each app installed on your device

• Usage Access — to display how much cache and data each installed app is using

You can review or revoke any of these permissions at any time through your device Settings.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services, such as crash reporting or analytics tools, to help us understand app performance and fix issues. These services may collect limited technical data, such as device model, operating system version, and crash logs. This data is not linked to the content of your personal files.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data Retention

Since the App does not collect or store your personal files on any server, there is no remote data for us to retain. Any technical or diagnostic data collected by third-party services is retained according to those services' own policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
